About The Course

Bachelor of Pharmacy or B Pharm course is a four-year undergraduate programme. In this course, students are imparted comprehensive knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry, which largely deals with the development, production and marketing of drugs/medicines. It is closely related to medical science.

Career Prospects

The pharmaceutical industry in India opens up wide range of career opportunities for the young aspirants. After doing B Pharm course, one can build a career in hospital pharmacy by working as hospital pharmacists. After pursuing B Pharm course, one can also go into the field of pharmaceutical consulting, education and academia, industrial pharmacy, medical publishing or research and development in pharmaceutical industry. Eligibility

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology).

D Pharma students are too eligible for admission into B Pharma in second year directly via Lateral entry.

Admission Procedure
Admission for 66.6% seats is carried out by PTU while 33.3% seats in each discipline are reserved for Management Quota. Admission to all seats is made on the basis of merit.
