B.Sc Agriculture program will be highly useful for rural youth especially in Punjab as the land holding is decreasing and the farmers have to produce more from the limited land & limited water resources . So the agriculture background of the wards of farmers will help in improving agriculture production. Moreover Agriculture sector has vast allied industries such as Pesticides, Fertilizers, Dairy, Processing, Fisheries Agri. implements where a rural students having agriculture background will prove more useful. There is no dearth of jobs in Agriculture sector.
